For those who don’t know, I published the first edition in 2018, after having spent 5 years writing it. What I was learning was far too magnificent not to share, so I began writing it all down in a blog, eventually turning it into this book. I have recently updated it ~ with a whole new look ~ to include new experiences and challenges, and to correct grammatical errors.
This was written to share our unschooling journey as a family, which began 11 years ago, and how spiritual practice and healing has cultivated and supported this. I grew up in a dysfunctional family with unhealthy relationships, and it became clear to me when I was headed down the same path with my own children that I wanted to break the cycle and be the most loving parent possible.
This is still a work in progress! and I am learning that I don’t have to be perfect, but I have come so far, and it brings me so much happiness to put this book out there to share just how I did it! I am proud to say that I built a loving home for my children and it shows every day in the way they live their lives.
